a bit about me:
My name is Janaina de Andréa Dernowsek and I have obtained my MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Genetics from the University of São Paulo (USP).
During my Ph.D. studies (2010 – 2014), I acquired knowledge and skills in Posttranscriptional interactions between the miRNAs and mRNAs during the osteoblastic differentiation of human stem cells. In 2012, I started a second degree in control and automation engineering to acquired interdisciplinary skills and to improve my development in new technologies.
I have finished my first postdoctoral at the Center for Information Technology Renato Archer (CTI), Campinas, Brazil, in the Biofabrication group, headed by Dr. Jorge Vicente Lopes da Silva. I have conducted some research related to 3D printing, bioprinting and information technologies applied to biofabrication of scaffolds for tissue engineering and bioprinting.
I am currently conducting research related to 3D printing, Bioprinting, modeling, simulation, and Information Technologies applied to biofabrication of tissues at the USP, UNIFESP, Poli-USP, UFAL e UFABC.
